Fast construction of the house

The structural assembly on-site takes 1-3 days, while remaining works up to the high degree of completion take 15-30 days, depending on the size and complexity of the building and the site conditions. This construction type enables other trades (installers…) to begin their work sooner. The object becomes weather-protected very quickly.

Dry construction

Construction throughout the year

Production takes place in a protected and controlled environment. A high level of prefabrication and dry construction allows work to continue year-round at the site. Factory production ensures consistent quality. In factory conditions, quality control is carried out during work, optimization of production processes is enabled, work is carried out throughout the year in a dry and illuminated environment, the influence of meteorological conditions on project deadlines is excluded, and the time frame for work on the construction site, within which noise is generated, and greater traffic of vehicles and machines is reduced.

Defined and fixed price

Construction cost is defined by a bill of quantities with detailed descriptions of included materials and work - there are no hidden costs. This is a direct consequence of the high degree of prefabrication of all elements in the factory, where production processes are optimized and material quantities are defined by the project. Several construction completion levels are available, from high degree of completion to turnkey.

State-of-the-art materials and building technology

Wood construction is constantly evolving and there is plentiful technological innovation in this segment - wood-based materials, hybrid structural solutions, fire and acoustic systems, innovative connective solutions, new insulation materials, automation in production and equalized quality. Wood as a material has favorable static properties that can be further utilized by combining it with other materials, and expanding its application to even larger spans, renovating old buildings or introducing it into domains where materials such as steel and concrete were prevalent. The insulating properties are multiply better compared to traditional materials, so wood is advantageous to use in the construction of buildings where low energy consumption is imperative. The favorable properties of the material and its increasingly frequent use have led to a number of new products made of wood or based on wood. The development of automation of production processes is also extremely strong, so CNC machines for wood processing, processing bridges for the production of wall, ceiling and roof panels, and machine plastering lines have raised product quality to a completely new level.

Superior energy efficiency

The entire building envelope is insulated. On the outside there is a facade system, with materials according to agreement (Styrofoam, rock wool, wood fibers), and part of the structure and substructure is also permeated with rock wool. There are several construction systems on offer, which are optimized for different climatic areas.

All installed elements meet low-energy construction guidelines. Great attention is paid to details, the proper execution of which ensures added value, quality and durability of Domprojekt's buildings. Experience and know-how in construction since 1993 in Croatia and abroad is woven into each of our projects, and in addition to the CE certificate for construction systems, we have been awarded multiple times by the Croatian profession for the highest quality prefabricated houses.

Earthquake, fire, snow and wind resistance

The robust wooden structure responds exceptionally well to both static and dynamic forces, whose values are taken into account when dimensioning for each micro-location on which it is built. All structural elements of our buildings undergo static calculations, according to current European standards. This makes their reliability equivalent to any other engineering structure. The structure is lightweight, so seismic activity has a significantly smaller impact, it is fire-resistant coated with gypsum-based panels and has robust wooden cross-sections, is located in a dry and protected environment, and in such conditions can last for generations.
