Privacy policy

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (Official Journal of the European Union L 119, 4.5.2016, p. 1, hereinafter: General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), applicable as of 25 May 2018 in the Republic of Croatia and all EU Member States, as well as the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (Official Gazette No. 42/18) and the broader legal framework for data protection in the Republic of Croatia and the European Union, DOMPROJEKT Llc. for design, production, construction, and trade, Zagreb, Delkovečka Street 4, registered in the Commercial Court Register in Zagreb under Company Registration Number (MBS): 080120694, Personal Identification Number (OIB): 18652876060 (hereinafter: DOMPROJEKT Llc.), as the data controller of the personal data of its service users and customers, has adopted this Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy is based on the following principles of personal data processing: lawfulness, transparency, and best practice, limitation of processing and data minimization, accuracy and completeness of personal dana, storage limitation, integrity and confidentiality, accountability, trust and fair processing, purpose limitation, anonymized data processing.

This Privacy Policy applies to all services provided by DOMPROJEKT Llc., with the purpose of informing users and/or customers clearly and transparently about the processing of their personal data and their rights. Users and/or customers may, at any time, contact DOMPROJEKT Llc. to request modification, amendment, or updating of their personal data, or to express preferences regarding the purposes for which their data may or may not be processed.

DOMPROJEKT Llc. is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Please read this Policy carefully to understand why and how we collect your personal data and how it will be used. Regarding the personal data we collect, DOMPROJEKT Llc. is the controller, i.e., the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

We collect your personal data when necessary to meet your consumer needs or to fulfill business purposes, including:

  • when you access our website domprojekt.hr, we collect your IP address, which is considered personal data.
  • when you access the site, we may also collect information such as the date and time of access, details about your hardware, software, or browser, your operating system, application version, and language settings, as well as data about your clicks and navigation on the website.
  • when you purchase our products, we share necessary delivery details (name, surname, delivery address) with our logistics partners for the purpose of fulfilling the contract.
  • when you contact our customer service for assistance or to exercise your rights under applicable law.
  • when you reach out via social media, we collect data you voluntarily provide in your messages or posts.
  • when you submit any inquiry related to our offer, we process your contact details and any other data you provide.

The above categories of personal data are collected either based on your consent (e.g., through a pop-up notice on www.domprojekt.hr), on legitimate interest (for instance, cookies necessary for website functionality or communication with existing customers), or for the fulfillment of legal obligations arising under Croatian law.

If processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Please note that certain data fields are mandatory. If a user does not provide required information, the requested activity or service may not be technically feasible or cannot be provided.

Typical categories of data collected include: name, billing address, delivery address, email, IP address, and telephone number, as further described in this Policy. Your personal data are collected for the following purposes:

  • performance of services and fulfillment of contracts or other ways of providing aa service required;
  • use of all functionalities on the website www.domprojekt.hr;
  • efficient response to inquiries and processing of requests;
  • statistical data analysis;
  • sending promotional materials, offers, and communication;
  • improvement of content quality, functionality, and services.

At any time, you have the right to request from DOMPROJEKT Llc. the following:

  • access to your personal data - to provide you with access to your personal data DOMPROJEKT Llc. you can ask what personal data about you it uses, and you can also request access to that personal data. You have the right to know the purpose of the processing, what categories of your personal data we store, the bodies or categories of bodies with which we share your personal data, the period of data retention, as well as the source of the data in the case where the data is collected indirectly. You can contact us if you would like a copy of some or all of the personal data we store about you.
  • correction of inaccurate data - You may request correction or deletion of information you consider incorrect or outdated.
  • deletion of personal data - You can ask DOMPROJEKT d.o.o. to stop the processing or even delete your personal data. However, we must note that we will not be able to stop the processing or delete the data if we need it to perform our obligations under the contract (or to execute the contract) both towards you as a customer and towards state and public authorities. In such a case, we will always explain to you why your request was not fulfilled. Also, if your personal data is necessary to be able to fulfill certain legal obligations (e.g. tax obligations), your request may not be able to be fulfilled.
  • restricting access to your data (to us and/or third parties) in certain processes or completely. If you wish to contest the accuracy of the data, or you believe that we no longer need your personal data for the purpose of the processing, but you require them for the establishment, exercise or processing of legal claims, or you have objected to the processing on grounds that we consider legitimate, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • objection to processing - You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. In such cases, we will respond within the prescribed timeframe and explain any decision not to comply.
  • data portability - request the transfer of data to another controller (portability of rights). If the processing is based on your consent or a contract or other processing that may be automated, you have the right to request that DOMPROJEKT Llc. transfer your data to another controller. Even in cases where the processing is not automated, we will make every effort, if possible, to transfer your data in cases where you request it. In the event that the transfer is not possible or that it is not possible to comply with your request, we will explain in detail why the request was not accepted or why we did not comply with it and exercise your right. Please note that the transfer cannot occur if it is impossible, impracticable or if we do not have the data that you want to be transferred to another controller.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

Personal data collected about you are stored in a secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, alteration, or destruction. Data are stored within our premises and IT systems, or occasionally on the servers of trusted service providers located within the EU.

DOMPROJEKT Llc. ensures that all personal data are stored in a secure location, protected by adequate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access or misuse. Only authorized persons have access to personal data, and all such persons are required to sign confidentiality agreements. Collected data are retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected. Personal data will not be stored in an identifiable form longer than necessary for the stated purposes. Retention periods may be extended only as required by applicable legal obligations. If consent has been given (e.g., acceptance of certain cookie categories), data will be processed until consent is withdrawn. If you object to processing based on legitimate interest, your data will no longer be processed for that purpose. If judicial, administrative, or extrajudicial proceedings are initiated, data may be stored until the conclusion of such proceedings, including any appeal periods.

Your privacy is important to us. DOMPROJEKT Llc. will never share your personal data with third parties except for the purposes described in this Policy, and you will always be informed of any such sharing. We cooperate with trusted partner companies and may share personal data using secure IT systems. Data transfers occur only within the EU or to countries ensuring an adequate level of protection under EU law.

Data may be shared with trusted partners for specific purposes such as: marketing, website maintenance (www.domprojekt.hr), advertising, payment processing, product delivery and logistics, and other related services. All partners are contractually bound to use the provided data solely in accordance with our instructions and only for the purposes specified. They are also required to ensure adequate data protection and treat all personal information as confidential business information. An annual audit of all partners is conducted to ensure that personal data protection remains at the required level and complies with applicable regulations.

We may use your personal data for various purposes, primarily to fulfill our legal and contractual obligations, and to improve your user experience and website security.
If your data are to be processed for new purposes, you will be informed in advance.

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to data collected by DOMPROJEKT Llc from their users (respondents). Other websites accessible through www.domprojekt.hr have their own privacy statements and terms of data use and disclosure. DOMPROJEKT Llc. is not responsible for the operations or conditions of third parties. DOMPROJEKT Llc. may collect and process personal data through user interactions on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Authorized representatives of DOMPROJEKT Llc. may access messages or posts on these platforms; however, any personal data collected via such channels are not stored or additionally processed, except for the purposes defined in this Policy.

This Privacy Policy enters into force upon its publication on the company’s website.
DOMPROJEKT Llc. reserves the right to amend or supplement this Policy, with all updates published on the website.
