Two-story house with pool ⌂ Zadar

Captured from the air near Zadar, the prefabricated two-storey house combines a modern look and relaxed Dalmatian living by the pool. A flat roof and a facade combining white and grey render give it a clean, contemporary line, while a covered balcony on the upper floor, a covered terrace on the ground floor and a large paved yard with a pool create a real summer oasis, all within an enclosed plot. The structure is assembled from large-format timber panels lifted by crane onto a prepared reinforced-concrete slab, so assembly takes only a few days. The fully insulated envelope makes it low-energy and keeps running costs low throughout the year. The two-storey layout makes good use of the plot and separates the day and night zones by floor.
