Semi-detached prefabricated house with attic ⌂ Morteau/F
In Morteau in France, Domprojekt built two houses with an attic, another project on the Western European market. Gable roofs with red tiles carry solar collectors, and white rendered facades with large glass walls on the ground floor fill the space with light. The houses sit on a grassed plot with a concrete retaining wall, in a distinctly hilly and wooded area. The layout with an upper floor and an attic offers plenty of space, and the solar collectors reduce energy costs even further. They are built with dry prefabricated technology from ready-made elements, so even several buildings go up quickly and to a uniform standard, throughout the year. The robust timber structure is engineered to European standards for the specific location and resistant to earthquakes, fire, snow and wind. Projects in France confirm that prefab houses from Croatia reliably take shape thousands of kilometres away too.
