Prefabricated residential building ⌂ Lengnau/CH

Photographed in winter under snow, in Lengnau in Switzerland, this multi-storey prefabricated residential building is further proof that Domprojekt builds across Europe. A flat roof, a grey-beige rendered facade and spacious terraces with glass balustrades give it a modern look, while large glass walls and a built-in hydromassage pool on one of the terraces add a touch of luxury. The building is taking shape alongside a crane on site, in an urban setting. The full cross-section of the envelope is filled with insulation, and because the system is adapted to the local climate, the apartments stay comfortable with low running costs even in the harsh Alpine winter. All floors are assembled from factory-made elements, so even a larger building goes up quickly and to a uniform standard, which shortens the schedule for investors and keeps the price known in advance.
