Modern single-story prefabricated house ⌂ Bodrež/SLO

Set in Bodrež in neighbouring Slovenia, this modern prefabricated bungalow is another Domprojekt project beyond Croatia. A single-pitch roof with dark anthracite tiles and a facade that combines light beige render with dark stone cladding on the corners and gable give it a contemporary, striking look, while large glass walls and a covered terrace connect the interior with the surroundings. In front of the house there are a paved terrace and a spacious lawn, and the surroundings are hilly and wooded. It is built with dry prefabricated technology from ready-made elements, so the load-bearing structure goes up in just a few days and a high level of completion is reached within a few weeks. The fully insulated timber structure is low-energy and resistant to earthquakes, fire, snow and wind to European standards. Projects like this confirm that prefab houses from Croatia take shape to the same high standard across the border too.
