Which documents are required to obtain a use permit?

The application for the issuance of a use permit is submitted electronically by the investor or the owner of the building. The annexes for the use permit are enclosed in electronic form.

The investor or building owner encloses with the application for a use permit:

• the building permit, i.e. the main design for a building that may be built, or works that may be carried out, without a building permit on the basis of the main design
• information about the participants in the construction
• a written statement by the contractor on the works performed and the conditions for maintaining the building
• the supervising engineer's final report on the construction of the building
• a statement by an authorised geodetic engineer that the building is located on the building plot, i.e. within the area of the development, in accordance with the building permit or the main design
• a geodetic survey of the as-built state of the building, or a geodetic study and/or another act determined by special regulations on the basis of which buildings, other structures or the manner of land use are recorded in the cadastre, i.e. the infrastructure cadastre and the land register, with data on the break points of the building, the building plot or the area of the development, presented in GML format in electronic form
• proof that a building plot has been formed in the cadastre, in the case of a building for which the location permit determines the area of the development within which the building plot is formed by a parcelling study, except for the issuance of a temporary use permit under Article 145, paragraph 1, subparagraph 2 of the Building Act, and
• the building's energy certificate, if the application is submitted for a building that must meet energy efficiency requirements.
